Wonderful creatures, the sea horses. Ride the waves into deep waters. Pulling chariots or dancing in sea foam, these horses have captivated our imaginations for thousands of years. One of the earliest Grecian relics was a seahorse. Hippo is Greek for “horse” and kampos means “sea monster”, and its the name I use for these majestic beasts.
These large wall sculptures are perfect alone or combined with Kraken.
Indoor pieces unless specified outdoor as well:
Hello. Could I purchase one of these hippocampus sculptures? How much are you asking? Thank you.
Hi Jeffiner, I would be happy to make one by commission for you. There are a lot of variables in material depending on its size, and intended installation location and conditions, which impacts the price. If you would care to send me an email via my contact page, we could discuss what you are looking for and the price ranges. http://mardistorm.com/bio/contact/# Thank you for your interest, Mardi
Hi Jeffiner, Sorry, I just saw your email, and will send you an email directly. Thank you! Mardi
Hi Jeffiner, well it’s been a morning without enough caffeine yet to be handling communications. I thought your inquiry was about my larger Hippocampus – http://mardistorm.com/of-merhorses-and-hippocampus/ – lol. I do have some of these already made and ready to go. They sell for $75, more weather-resistant versions are $85, plus shipping. If you are interested in purchasing, I could re-instate the listing in my Etsy shop, just let me know. Thank you for your interest!
